CURRICULUM

We’re impressed with our curriculum, now it’s your turn!

ENGAGING YOUR CHILD, EVERY DAY

JEWISH HISTORY

The students gain an appreciation of our heritage and culture that has been preserved throughout the ages. The stories of Torah namely Bereishit and Shemot, are explored in many different interactive forms such as drama, arts and crafts, baking and media, as well as discussing the story’s practical application to a child in today’s day and age.

JEWISH HEROES

Students relive and reenact the life and history of Jewish heroes of the past, highlighting their exceptional character and life achievements.

SHABBAT AND HOLIDAYS

During Hebrew school students explore holidays and Shabbat, together with their traditions and celebrations in a hands-on exciting fashion.

JEWISH PRAYERS

Throughout Hebrew school, students engage in and learn about the Jewish prayers with age appropriate children’s prayer books. Prayers are the start of each class.

JEWISH VALUES

Students learn the origins of the mitzvot, and explore their practical application in their daily lives through a hands-on Mitzvot course, enabling students to make Judaism personal.

THE ALEPH CHAMPION PROGRAM

Aleph Champion is on the cutting edge of Hebrew reading today. Modeled after the Karate/Martial Arts motivational system, it works by dividing different Hebrew reading skills into levels, defined by color. As students advance through each level they build on previous skills, with the motivation to reach the black Aleph Champion goal.
